Understanding The Work
What is perception-based work, and how does it work?
Perception-based change means we work with how your brain interprets the world, not just what happened, but what your mind made it mean. Your brain isn’t built for truth, it’s built for survival. So when it gets stuck in old patterns or assumptions, you get stuck too.
Using tools backed by neuroscience and cognitive restructuring, we teach your brain new ways to respond. Think of it like updating an outdated GPS: the road may not change, but your route through it does. That shift in perception leads to real, lasting change without needing to dig through your entire life story.
How is coaching different from hypnotherapy?
Coaching focuses on habits, action plans, and building future-oriented strategies. Hypnotherapy works with the subconscious—the behind-the-scenes operating system that drives reactions, beliefs, and identity.
If coaching is conscious rewiring, hypnotherapy is a deeper software update. Together, they create powerful change from both directions. You don’t have to choose just one; I blend them when it facilitates getting you to your goals as quickly and effectively as possible.
What kinds of issues can this help with?
These strategies are effective for things like anxiousness, burnout, performance pressure, overthinking, high-functioning overwhelm, trauma recovery, self-sabotage, and mindset loops that just won't break. You don’t need a diagnosis or a “rock bottom” moment.

Do I need prior experience with therapy, mindset work, or coaching?
Not at all. You can come in completely new to this kind of work or already have a bookshelf full of self-help.
What matters most is that you're open to exploring how your brain works and ready to try a different approach.
We go beyond surface strategies and into the deeper patterns driving your thoughts, choices, and behaviors.
Working Together
Are sessions personalized to my needs?
Absolutely. Cookie-cutter doesn’t cut it here. Every session is customized to your goals, learning style, and what your brain responds to best.
Whether you process visually, verbally, somatically, or a mix of all three, we adapt so your change process actually fits you.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. Since October 2021, I have been working to move over all clients to virtual sessions using secure video platforms.
That means you can do this work from your own space, without travel or awkward waiting rooms, just headphones, a quiet room, and a stable internet connection. In-person sessions are still available.
Do you work with both individuals and businesses?
Yes. I work with individuals, leaders, and teams to shift internal patterns, rewire stress responses, and build high-functioning mindsets that actually feel sustainable.
Whether you’re here for personal healing, performance breakthroughs, or group cohesion, the process is customized for what you need most.
How do I know if this is the right fit for me?
Here’s the honest answer: You don’t. Until you try it.
But if you're exhausted from doing the same thing over and over, hoping something will finally stick, this is different. This isn’t about willpower or motivation. It’s about learning how to work with your brain instead of battling it.

Programs and Options
How long does it take to see results?
Every brain is different. Some people feel a noticeable shift after the first session, especially with subconscious work. Others start noticing changes in thought patterns or behaviors after a few weeks as the brain builds new wiring.
This isn’t a “fix it fast” gimmick, but it’s also not years of talking in circles. Real change can happen faster than you think when the right systems are in place.

How long is each session?
How long do sessions usually last?
Sessions are scheduled for 90 - 120 minutes; it could be less but usually isn't more.
That gives us enough time to get settled, do the deep work, and integrate it before wrapping up with any next steps or tool discussion
If you need shorter sessions later, we can adjust based on your pace and preferences.
What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay using credit or debit cards, cash (for local clients), or online payment platforms. I offer flexible options to make things smooth and stress-free.
If you are a veteran, active duty military member, first responder, or spouse to any of the above, please be sure to let me know, as I have very differently priced "niche" pricing available for you, as well as payment plans.
Is what I share confidential?
Absolutely everything you share is kept strictly confidential.
Your session is a protected space where you can speak freely.
No information is ever shared or recorded except to you with the applicable consent forms.
