My Mission
I work confidently within the knowledge that perception drives change and strategy defines the path. Grounded in neuroscience and neuroplasticity, I use and teach practical, neuroscience-based tools to teach and empower individuals and organizations to reframe limiting beliefs, optimize mental resilience, and create intentional transformation. Through evidence-based strategies, coaching, and educational resources, I teach tools that my clients use to rewire thought patterns, unlock potential, and navigate life with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

I specialize in mental wellness and optimization consulting services tailored to your individual needs. I'm dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for you to explore your thoughts and emotions through personalized strategies and techniques to help you navigate life’s challenges and achieve emotional well-being. Let me teach you the tools you can learn and master to help you on your journey to a healthier and happier life.
For over 15 years, I’ve helped individuals and organizations optimize their abilities, shift perception, rewire thought patterns, and break through limiting beliefs using neuroscience-based strategies, hypnotherapy, coaching, and executive support. With 10 years of teaching experience and 25 years in executive optimization, I know that real change doesn’t come from quick fixes—it comes from learning the right tools and applying them with intention.
I specialize in working with veterans, first responders, and high-performing professionals who are ready to take control, eliminate self-sabotaging patterns, and create sustainable transformation. My approach is practical, science-backed, and results-driven because when you understand how perception shapes reality, you can finally design a path that works for you.

A Step Away From "Professional" For A Minute, And A Little More "Cari".
Below Is More About Me so you know who you're meeting with.
In my spare time not teaching, working with clients, or writing - I LOVE to travel with my family either around North Carolina or anywhere there are mountains and water (we aren't beach-y people - give us mountains and grizzlies any day). We love getting out on our Harley or hopping in the Jeep for family road trips. As soon as the nice weather rolls around here in the mountains, we love to hike, fish, and enjoy time in our yard taking in the view, playing with our animals, and gardening. I recently added to my gardening love by started our own little subsistence garden for veggies and fruits. (PSA: Three little cucumber plants can abso-LUTELY require a new love for pickles because...wow...they're prolific!) I also love to read and take courses on ANYTHING mind or mind-body related. I am pretty sure that Jeff Bezos has taken a few vacations from my book purchases alone.
Of all the things I love and all the things that have made me who I am and who I'll grow to be - our kids always have been and always will be the center of it all. Our oldest son followed in his Dad's footsteps and became a United States Marine, and our youngest is going to be our family's first Sherriff's Deputy. I've been so in awe of the two of them and the men they've grown into. Our Marine has wanted to earn his EGA since he was 3 and our soon-to-be Police Officer has wanted nothing else since he was 5...And here we are - one goal down and one in-process. Our oldest held his dream for 20 years and our youngest for 16.
And then there's me. I think I switched dream jobs almost daily during my entire childhood.....and even into early'ish adulthood until I found what I can only describe as a missing piece I didn't know I had. I started my passion (obsession) through my own struggle with trauma from an abusive relationship (trauma, by the way, that I thought I was "over") and the residual and very heavy guilt from un-treated and ignored PPD. The impact it made helped me to see that it's something EVERYONE should be taught to use. So, here I am...just a few years past 20 (ha) and more than a decade deep into a dream job I could only wish I knew sooner. But I'm so unbelievably grateful that I can jump in every day and feel invigorated and excited to do what I do. As I was creating topics for the blog and newsletter I'll be releasing soon, over THREE hours went by as I "brain-dumped" and I still feel like there's so much more to capture. That's how I know I found my "spot" - when I get so lost in what I'm doing and feel almost electrified with the ideas pouring out of my head and onto paper (yes, I still use paper...I said I'm a FEW years past 20, remember?). It almost feels like my hand can't write fast enough to capture what's coming from my mind. Of course, part of that could be my adult-diagnosed ADD, but I'm okay with that. Being "neuro-spicy" has its gifts - I bet I could think of 400 things in the time it takes you to think of 10. But that's a whole blog post in itself. Well, that's me in a nutshell. I'm just a soul having a proud mom experience who has a lot to learn, limiting beliefs I'm still working on (because I'm human), lessons to grow from, and experience and knowledge to share.
